Process
The project focused on clarity and trust, ensuring visitors could easily browse, showcase, and buy items. Since the marketplace is local, the design needed to feel warm and personal, rather than overly commercial.
To reinforce this, the illustrations and image style were created using Midjourney, based on real images of my wife and me. The result was a friendly, illustrated aesthetic that feels unique to Nabomarked. With Shopify as the foundation, the focus was on customizing typography, colors, and structure while keeping the setup flexible and easy to maintain.

The final result is a straightforward, inviting marketplace that supports the local and personal feel of Nabomarked. The combination of custom visuals, a clean layout, and Shopify’s functionality ensures an intuitive experience for buyers.
